This is a fabulous Turtle Nuchal Scute Fossil. It is in wonderful condition with fine detail. It is part of the top front of the turtle shell, just above the neck. It is very distinctive. Wonderful example of a Pleistocene reptile from the Ice Age of Florida. It has just some natural chipping on front edge & back of scute. There are no repairs or restorations. It has a nice rich dark-brown patina. Actual Specimen Pictured & Guaranteed Authentic.
