This is a terrific Turtle Nuchal Scute Fossil. It is in excellent condition with great detail. The nuchal scute is part of the top front of the turtle shell, just above the neck. It is very distinctive. Wonderful example of a Pleistocene reptile from the Ice Age of Florida. It has just some slight natural chipping on front edge of scute. There are no repairs or restorations. Actual Specimen Pictured & Guaranteed Authentic.
